    The much-awaited National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings for the year 2023 were unveiled on June 5, 2023, showcasing the best educational institutions across India.     The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) emerged as the frontrunner in the overall category for an unprecedented fifth consecutive year.     In the university category, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) clinched the coveted first rank.
